The Chihulife Family
Did you read the introduction? Typical, humans always think they run things on this website, but it’s Mark’s furry family that does all the heavy lifting here.
Belka

My name is Belka; I’m beautiful. I must be because everyone I meet tells me I am.
My favorite hobby is eating, and I’m not too modest to say I’m quite the nutrition expert. Perhaps it’s because of all the practice I get.
My mommy says it’s ok though nothing can spoil my good looks; I love my mommy.
Iriska

My name is Iriska. I’m not like my sister Belka; she loves to eat, but the job I love most is protecting my family; you see, I’m a warrior.
I might not look like one but don’t test me. No, really don’t push me. People I meet always say I’m a big dog in a small body.
I don’t understand what that means; humans say such silly things. I’m also the family’s expert in doggy behavior and activities.
Cora

Hi, I’m Cora, the newest member of the Barkan family pack. I’m a beautiful (even if I say so myself) American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff).
I’ve already made myself at home and claimed the sofa but only when the rest of the family aren’t looking or busy doing something else. When I’m not sneaking onto the couch, I’m always ready to play with my two Chi siblings Iriska and Belka.
They’re a lot older (I mean a lot older) than me, but that’s okay; I take it easy for them and try not to tire them out too much. You can’t be too careful around old folks, can you?
I’m so happy to be the newest member of Mark’s wonderful furry family.
Mark

My name is Mark. I’m the proud dad of Belka and Iriska. I know they’ve probably told you they run things around here but don’t listen.
I built this website, and I look after my Iriska and Belka, and let me tell you, it’s a 24/7 job; don’t tell Iriska and Belka I said that.
Writers
Brad Davenport

I pride myself on being the very best dog-parent I can be. I refuse to bring a dog into my life without investing as much time as possible to understand that dog’s particular needs. Every dog I have parented has been an experience, and they are all different with incredible personalities.
Jovanka Panic

She writes for several websites, volunteers at the Food Bank for Abandoned Animals. She takes care of three cats (Clementine, Josephine, and Sophio), a kitten Rosalie, and their ‘mom’ American Stafford Terrier, Malena.
